aichicatThe Fallout series is full of lore that can be overwhelming to people who aren't too familiar with it. It might be overwhelming to people who do know the series. Here are links to help you guys understand the world a bit better. Please let me know if anything is missing and I'll look for it and post it here.
Food and drink available in the wasteland. Yeah, it doesn't look appetizing to me, either.
Clothing and armor that NPCs will wear and some your character will be able to find.
Weapons wielded by NPCs and available to find or purchase. Here's a bit more on ammunition of you need it.
Holodisks and notes that might be lying around various locations. I think this list makes it a bit difficult to tell where each one is found, but it might be helpful.
A long list of miscellaneous items that can be picked up in the game.
All the locations in the Mojave Wasteland. Here's a map. Let me know if this is too difficult to use and I'll try to find a better one.

If you look through these, you'll notice that there are things exclusive to DLCs in the game. It doesn't make sense to me to leave those things out, so assume that everything included in the wiki pages are available to your character.
